International Day of Persons with Disabilities

In celebration of today’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the UNESCO Chair in Transforming the Lives of People with Disabilities, their Families and Communities, Through Physical Education, Sport, Recreation and Fitness are proud to support the launch of the Inclusion by Design Impact Awards, led by the Global Partnership on Children with Disabilities, in conjunction with Commit to Inclusion. The awards recognizes individuals and organizations that have developed and implemented policies, practices, or programmes that contribute to building an inclusive culture in sport and physical activity.
